Each and every member of the GBS family plays an integral role in driving ADCB's strategy, growth and digital evolution by working closely with our valued business partners to achieve exceptional customer experience through our outstanding service and support.We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.In this role, your key responsibilities include:Assist in the verification, authorisation and follow-up of the release of repaired/screened UAEFTS/Swift payments received via electronic channels in line with the CBUAE and Swift requirements to ensure service levels are met.Support the review, authorisation or rejection of the swift messages in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures in order to mitigate any financial and reputational risk arising from processing errors or unsanctioned transactions.Assist in the performance of reconciliation of respective General Ledger (GL) accounts, messages, or payment statuses and acknowledgements in a timely manner in order to mitigate any adverse financial impact on the customer as well as the Bank arising from unsettled entries, delays, processing errors or system issues.Provide care and diligence in the conduct of day to day activities to protect the Department from financial and non-financial loss to ensure that best practice is shared and promoted.Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.The ideal candidate should have the following experience:At least 3 years of Banking experience with at least 1 year of experience in centralised remittances or payments processing area.Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldBanking applicationsSWIFT Advanced skills in Word and Excel Basic skills in PowerPoint Written and verbal communication (English)Sound analytical and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated and collaborativeWhat we offer:Comprehensive Benefits Package: This includes market-leading medical insurance, group life and personal accident insurance, paid leave and leave airfare, employee preferential rates on loans and finance facilities, staff discounts and offers, and children education assistance (for certain job levels).Flexible and Remote Working Options: We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible working arrangements, subject to eligibility and job requirements.Learning and Development Opportunities: We value and facilitate continuous learning and personal development, through a variety of exciting learning opportunities, such as structured instructor-led courses, a comprehensive e-Learning catalog, on-the-job training and professional development programs.At ADCB, we are dedicated to creating a respectful, caring and disciplined work environment that aligns with your career ambitions.
