Position:The ASF team is actively looking for Senior Analyst/Junior Associate for our Sydney office with 2-3yrs of relevant experience.The ASF team is an integral part of Natixis CIB working closely with the Financial Sponsor Coverage, M&A Advisory, DCM, Loan Syndications and others.Main Responsibilities:Assist Senior deal team members in all aspects of originating and execution of underwritten debt financings from deal inception to final credit approval, legal documentation and funding.Managing internal systems and liaising with internal product partners throughout the credit approval, funding and syndication process. Reviewing and analyzing due diligence materials, including financial, commercial and legal due diligence reports and financial models to access credit quality and recommend appropriate debt structures.Preparing credit papers covering company and industry overviews, financial performance, projections and risk & mitigantsMonitoring the progress of portfolio deals, responding to various consent requests and completing regular reviewsSupporting the loan syndicate team in distributing the financing to investors, following the origination and underwriting by the ASF team.Required Skills:Financial Modeling: Using Microsoft Excel to prepare Financial Models including Leveraged Buyout Models (LBO)Preparing Pitch Books: Using Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare pitch books, recommending appropriate financing structures to clients Client Management: Associates need to have great people skills as they are in client-facing environmentsProblem solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make sound recommendations based on available dataAdaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to changes in the financial markets, industry dynamics, and company strategiesDetail Oriented: including ability to pay very close attention to internal systems and processes
