In the Life Sciences, Frier Levitt has represented pharmacies of all kinds and assisted with regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters. On the Healthcare side, the Firm's clients have included large physician group practices, hospitals, hospital medical staff, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratory companies, as well as the complete panoply of ancillary service providers. Frier Levitt attorneys are licensed in numerous states. The Firm has offices in Pine Brook, New Jersey, and New York City.A Litigation Associate Attorney is sought for Frier Levitt's brand new New York City office at One World Trade Center.The Associate Attorney Will Be Responsible ForDrafting motions in federal and state courtsDrafting discovery requests and responses/objections to discovery requestsPreparing for and taking depositionsWorking on arbitrations and government investigationsDrafting correspondenceNegotiating settlementDeveloping case strategies and pitching-in for trials and final hearingsRequirementsAdmitted or eligible for admission in NY1+ years' experience in Federal court litigation preferredWill consider candidates who have passed the bar, but are not yet admittedDeposition and courtroom experience preferredAny government investigation experience preferred (e.g., AUSA, Attorney General's Office or private practice)Healthcare/Life Sciences experience or demonstrated interest a plusMust have outstanding research and writing skillsMinimum law school GPA of 3.0 preferredMust be willing to work in the office the majority of the timeBenefitsFrier Levitt offers a hybrid schedule, competitive salary, bonus eligibility, and a full range of benefits, including PTO (unlimited), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) (upon eligibility to participate), life insurance, LTD, and opportunities for substantial salary progression based on performance and contributions.Posted salary range is given in good faith.
