ResponsibilitiesThis role is vital to advancing our external storytelling and event execution, supporting communication strategies aligned with our mission and business goals. Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of experience in communications or marketing across private or public sectors, skilled in implementing strategic plans and creating engaging content for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. The position involves close collaboration with our communications team and building strong relationships with internal and external partners. Strong writing skills, creativity, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment are essential.We’ll trust you to: Collaborate with communications and marketing leaders to enhance media and community awareness of Related’s development and property portfolio, with a focus on the NYC region. Maintain and manage a communications and social media content calendar. Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials. Oversee the daily media clips process and its distribution. Build and sustain relationships internally and externally to understand Related’s development pipeline, community stakeholders, and business priorities. Support the planning and execution of various local events, ranging from community and resident meetings to press conferences and large-scale events. Craft compelling narratives using earned and owned media to highlight Related’s accomplishments and community engagement. Partner with the design and creative services team to develop engaging social media content that reflects the Related brand. CompensationThe anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.Anticipated base salary range: $90,000 - $105,000Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or marketing. Proven ability to execute communication campaigns and manage key stakeholders effectively. Strong writing and multimedia content development skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
