About The RoleWe're looking for an Associate Creative Director (Copywriting) to join our Amsterdam team. This is a role for a seasoned storyteller who thrives on big ideas and knows how to bring them to life across every channel. From global campaigns, and activations, to simplifying complex policy issues, you'll create work that's bold, culturally relevant, and pushes the brand forward as a respected global leader.What You'll Do Develop inspiring, conceptual platform ideas and compelling copy that can stretch across film, digital, OOH, activations, and more Create narratives that resonate globally while scaling with nuance in local markets Deliver work that's insightful, culturally relevant, and meaningfully disruptive Ensure craft excellence across every aspect of execution Lead projects and teams on large-scale, high-profile assignments Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, marketers, policy, and comms partners across the globe Present and sell ideas with clarity and confidence Mentor and inspire teams while staying hands-on with the work yourself What You'll Need 8+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house at a global brand A portfolio that demonstrates bold, culturally relevant work across integrated campaigns, film, OOH, social, and activations Proven ability to transform complex marketing programs, policy challenges, or products into simple, compelling stories Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to balance brand voice with business and technical requirements Experience leading teams and guiding large-scale, high-visibility assignments Comfort working in ambiguity, with the agility to adapt direction when needed Strong collaboration skills and fluency in working with global stakeholders Excellent communication and presentation skills A strategic point of view on briefs and campaigns An understanding of the broad cultural differences that span US&C, EMEA, LATAM and APAC, and the ability to craft work the resonates with people who live in these markets Preferred Qualifications Degree in creative writing, copywriting, communications, marketing, advertising; or equivalent Understanding of how to scale ideas for global deliverables and integrated campaigns Strategically minded Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and pivot quickly when needed Ability to start a project without having all of the details locked-in Familiarity with Google Docs and Slides or willingness to learn Familiarity with using AI like ChatGPT, Gemini, Writer or willingness to learn
