As we expand our offering to include fine jewelry alongside our mainline collections, we are looking for a talented and detail-driven Senior Product Development Manager to help bring our vision to life.The OpportunityJENNY BIRD is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Associate Jewelry Designer or Jewelry Designer to join our Design Team. In this role, you’ll support the creation and development of our mainline jewelry collections, focused on seasonal and trend-forward pieces in brass and steel. This position blends creative vision and technical precision, helping bring to life designs that reflect the brand’s modern, timeless aesthetic.About YouYou’re immersed in fashion and design, with a sharp eye for what’s next. You understand brand DNA intuitively and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.In this Role, you will:Partner with the Senior Designer to develop new seasonal collections that embody the Jenny Bird aestheticDesign and model technical components (clasps, linkages, mechanisms) with precision and creativityTranslate design direction into detailed sketches, CADs, and spec sheetsSupport sampling and prototyping, ensuring accuracy and quality through each development stageCollaborate with the Product Development team to communicate with overseas vendors, review CAD files, and resolve technical challengesSuggest design improvements and ensure seamless documentation of CAD files, revisions, and samplesContribute to concepting and trend research, bringing fresh ideas and insights into materials, finishes, and silhouettesAssist in preparing production specifications and design packages as neededQualifications3–5 years of jewelry design experience with advanced CAD skills (Rhino, Matrix, KeyShot, or similar)Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesignDeep understanding of jewelry manufacturing, construction, and materialsStrong balance of creativity and technical executionExceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughStrong eye for contemporary, wearable design and awareness of global fashion trendsBased in Toronto or New York, working closely with the in-house Design teamTeam Member Expectations:We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual who will lead with empathy, inspire their teammates with a strong work ethic, and support the growth of their peers through establishing relationships built on trust and respect.As a brand, we have seen incredible growth and success through our team’s proactiveness, curiosity, and desire to learn while building. If an office is established, you may be required to work from NYC 2–3 days per week at that location. Salary Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000-90,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
