Associate Director, BDM (Renewable Energy - PPA's)

We are currently working with a leading global Renewable Energy developer / Investor who are looking to a add a Senior Manager (AD), BDM to be based in Sydney or MelbourneKey Focus:Originate and execute PPAs, retail, and structured energy contracts.Engage directly with large corporates, industrial clients, and energy retailers.Lead the full deal lifecycle – from market strategy to contract negotiation and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate and close tailored energy deals, including firmed renewables, hybrid products, and structured contracts.Build and manage senior-level relationships across corporates, retailers, and intermediaries to drive a robust pipeline.Develop a national buyer network to support project commercialisation and market growth.Lead the full deal lifecycle—from structuring and pricing through to negotiation and execution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Legal, Investment, Markets) to align on risk and deal terms.Prepare commercial materials, term sheets, and contracts.Monitor market and regulatory trends to refine strategy and offerings.Support investment approvals with commercial cases and executive briefings.Represent the business at industry forums and client engagements.Experience & Qualifications8+ years in energy origination, corporate PPAs, or structured energy sales.Proven track record of closing complex energy transactions.Strong network and senior relationships in the Australian energy market.Deep understanding of electricity markets and contract structures (e.g., PPA, sleeved, retail).Commercially strategic with strong financial and risk analysis skills.Excellent communicator and negotiator with high initiative and ownership.Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Law, or similar; MBA preferred.They will offer a very competitive remuneration package.To submit your CV please push "apply" or send your CV directly to mark@phillipriley.com.au
