Associate Director (Financial Services Consulting)

Our client - a global consulting firm - is looking for an experienced Associate Director with a strong Financial Services background to join their accounting & reporting consulting practice in Riyadh.In this role, you will lead complex accounting and financial reporting advisory engagements, provide technical expertise on IFRS, build senior-level client relationships, and oversee multi-disciplinary project teams. This role offers exposure to high-impact work in a fast-growing market.Responsibilities:Lead complex accounting advisory projects for clients across banking, insurance, and investment sectorsProvide expert guidance on IFRS standards (IFRS 9, 17, 7, 10, 16) and GCC regulatory reportingAdvise on complex transactions, new standard implementations, and finance transformation initiativesReview financial statements and develop/assess accounting policiesBuild and manage strong client relationships at senior levelsDrive business development through proposals, pitches, and client acquisitionManage multiple project teams to ensure high-quality, on-time deliveryCollaborate with global delivery teams to provide integrated, tech-enabled solutionsCoach and mentor junior team members, contributing to overall capability buildingRequirements:10–14 years’ experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or audit focused on financial service clients, preferably bankingStrong technical expertise in IFRS, especially FS-related standards (IFRS 9, IFRS 17, etc.)Experience in Big 4 or top-tier consulting firmsProven leadership in client delivery, project management, and stakeholder engagementSolid understanding of GCC regulatory environmentsExcellent communication and presentation skillsProfessional qualification: SOCPA / CA / ACCA / CPAArabic proficiency is an advantage
