Are you?About The RoleThe role is responsible for FP&A operations for the EMEA region and Finance systems & a key enabler of end-to-end finance processes (including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report). The role requires a strong command of FP&A fundamentals and ensures robust financial processes, forecasting and performance management, partnering closely with the FP&A Lead to deliver key financial deliverables. This role bridges finance and technology, ensuring that finance processes are efficient, scalable, and digitally enabled. The role partners closely with regional finance team and global digital finance team to optimize processes, automate reporting, deliver accurate & timely planning and performance insights while leveraging automation and adoption of next-generation finance tools. This is a hybrid role, located in Switzerland.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do:Budgeting and Planning: Manage and coordinate the budgeting, latest estimates, and other planning cycles across EMEA, ensuring high-quality submissions aligned with global timelines.Standardize and improve FP&A processes and drive accruals process across markets. Support the FP&A and Accounting Leads in preparing monthly performance reviews, balance sheet reviews and other executive presentations.Reporting & Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and reports tailored to financial and business needs. Translate complex financial data into clear, user-friendly visual insights.End-to-End Process Improvement: Drive efficiency, process improvements and governance across key finance processes — Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and Plan-to-Perform.Data Management and Integration: Partner with IT to extract, transform, and load required financial data from multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Collaborate with IT/ data engineering to refine data models, improve performance, and enhance reporting efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance and Business teams to deliver fit-for-purpose reporting and analytics solutions. Provide end-user training, deploy self-service capabilities, and support change management for new reporting tools.Continuous Improvement: Standardize & automate recurring reports and apply Qlik best practices and new features to continuously improve reporting capabilitiesMaster Data Governance: Maintain, advise and support strong master data policies, approval workflows, and controls across COA, vendor, customer, and product records.Best Practice & Compliance: Promote adoption of digital finance best practices, ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements, and document key finance processes.Position RequirementsEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. Minimum of 7 years of relevant financial experience, experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry strongly preferredFinance Expertise: Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and core finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R).Analytical & Reporting Skills: Advanced Excel, strong data analysis capability, and experience with visualization and BI toolsSystems & Tools Expertise: Proficient in Qlik Sense, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), advanced Excel, MS Office, and process-mapping tools like Visio.Techno-Finance Integration: Skilled in translating financial and business requirements into effective system and data solutions.Process Improvement: Ability to identify gaps, streamline workflows, facilitate process design sessions, and document optimized business processes.Data Management: Understanding of data migration, validation, master data governance, and reporting automation.Collaboration & Business Partnering: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with finance, IT, and operational teams to design and implement scalable solutions.Project & Change Management: Competence in managing project scope, resources, timelines, and stakeholders while driving adoption of new tools and processes.Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, business-oriented way.Proactive and Analytical: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable professional with strong analytical skills and a holistic business perspective.Who You AreLife at Insmed At Insmed, you’ll find a culture as human as our mission—intentionally designed for the people behind it.
