We blend Corporate Communications, Financial Communications, Public Affairs, Strategy & Insight, Campaigning, Digital and more to help clients tell their story with impact.The RoleAs an Associate Director at Headland, you’ll be a senior client lead and media strategist, working on some of the most interesting briefs in our industry. You’ll shape client strategy, drive excellence in delivery, and play a central role in winning new business.From the get-go, you’ll:Lead high-impact corporate communications programmes and campaigns, reporting into the Director/Partner on your teamShape media strategies and manage national press and stakeholder relationshipsOversee press office activity and guide teams through reputational challengesProvide senior counsel to clients and support the development of junior team membersDrive efficiency, quality, and creativity across account teamsContribute to business growth through pitching and relationship-buildingWho we’re looking forTo thrive in this role, you’ll need:A strong track record in corporate communications, including media relations and brand storytellingExperience building trusted relationships with senior clients and managing high-performing account teamsExposure to new business development, strategy and proposal writingExcellent writing, presentation and interpersonal skillsA collaborative, curious and proactive approachCommercial awareness and the ability to think strategicallyInclusion & AccessibilityWe believe diverse perspectives make us stronger, and we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
