He/She will support the implementation and installation of Teva EHS&S management system to achieve Corporate EHS&S excellence goals and ensure compliance in Teva sites. In his/her area of responsibilities, he/she provides EHS&S technical and managerial support to Teva facilities, provides direction to establish EHS&S excellence culture. Mentoring and collaborating with site EHS&S team, staff and plant leadership teams on the integration of standard practices into daily operations. He/She assess and mitigate risks by conducting EHS&S audits and assessments (internal and external), preparing remediation plans, and training EHS&S staff to build appropriate Environmental and General EHS&S expertise and capabilities.How You’ll Spend Your DayThe Associate Director, Occupational Health and Hygiene will ensure that Teva’s EHS&S standards, guidelines, processes and best practices are fully and effectively implemented in the company and that all EHS&S staff have the capability, training and behaviors to effectively execute EHS&S tasks as needed. As member of Global EHS&S team, she/he will ensure an effective collaboration between all parts of EHS&S locally and regionally.As a Member Of Teva Global EHS&S Organization, He/she Will Provide Technical And Managerial Support To Teva Facilities And Global Projects In ParticularServe as a key interface between global and site EHS&S and other site functions, particularly on issues related to industrial hygiene.Actively engage sites to foster compliance and employee safety. Support the EHS&S function in monitoring, assessing business impacts, determining necessary actions, and communicating to stakeholders changing or emerging laws and regulations and action plans.Support the EHS&S function in directing the sites to meet business health and Industrial Hygiene targets.Support the EHS&S function in providing solutions, developing, measuring, analyzing, and communicating key performance indicators and metrics.Support EHS&S function in ensuring full and effective implementation of the policy and procedures dictated by the organization.Track developments and trends in health and Industrial Hygiene related hazards to support mitigation of risks.Support site initiatives, projects and annual operating plan (AOP) to execute the Global EHS&S strategy identifying potential opportunities for increased synergies and efficiencies, in line with objectives and targets, capital planning, and budget.Participate in Global EHS&S audits.Support Sites on EHS&S event investigations and related CAPA Plans, and guide sites on the identification of corrective/preventive actions and follow up on their implementation.Support sites in implementation, verification and realization of applicable global EHS&S management systems and developing emergency plans.Drive effective communications between all parts of the EHS&S organization.Monitor developments and trends in global safety health, hygiene regulations, and participate in regulatory advocacy efforts, as appropriateGeneral Health & IH Related ResponsibilitiesSupport the identification and proactive management of health risks generated from production processes or other chemical, biological, or physical agents.Support the sites’ health, IH and ergonomic improvement and sampling plans.Developing and continuously improving global standards, enabling tools and support sites actions to improve engineered controls in line with Engineering guidelines and requirementsEnsuring implementation of consistent Hazard Communication processes and the implementation of appropriate Engineering Controls and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Early identification of emerging regulations and preparation for remediation plan and developing gap/impact assessments related to Industrial Hygiene.Periodically review performance indicators enabling trends to be identified, elucidated and rectified in a timely mannerEstablishing programs and business processes that promote continuous improvement in safety, health and hygiene across TevaImproving health and IH knowledge and competency at all levels of the organizationReporting to internal and external stakeholders on Teva’s safety, health and hygiene progressUndertaking Global EHSS Audits.Lead TEVAs Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technical Advisory Committee (OHSTAC)Your Experience And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene or related field. Advanced knowledge and practical experience of least 5 years in Pharmaceutical operations and 7 years overall is preferred.Additional certificates in Industrial Hygiene is an advantage.Deep knowledge and understanding of industrial hygiene requirements and expectationsExtensive experience in development and installation of health and hygiene management systems. Regional or multisite experience in leading EHS&S related matters, or operations in a large site (>1000 FTEs) is a plus.A strong passion for employee safety and instilling compliance culture.Ability to create a clear and concise strategic view in a complex working environment.Adept communicator of information and ideas, both written and verbal, to diverse audiences.Strong Interpersonal and people skills, in particular inter-cultural competence, and the ability to build relationships and influence others to drive global initiatives.Outstanding collaboration skills, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.Self-motivated, acts independently and prioritizes appropriately.Able to navigate organizational complexities, embrace unexpected changes or challenges, and drive solutions.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, send us your CV in English.How We’ll Take Care Of You At Teva, better health starts from within, and that includes you.
