Many of the companies in which we invest offer mission-critical products and services to their clients - from reliable heating and clean water to safe electrical systems and efficient building operations.To support our companies operationally, KLAR has established the KLAR Catalyst Team (KCT) — a hands-on value creation team that partners closely with management to strengthen financial and operational capabilities. KCT focuses on driving efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making across the portfolio, working side by side with CFOs and finance teams to build scalable, modern solutions.About the Role We are looking for a new colleague to join the KLAR Catalyst Team, helping portfolio companies improve their reporting, processes and data capabilities. The role combines strategic problem-solving with practical execution — from building Power BI solutions and automating processes to supporting broader data and digitalisation initiatives.You’ll work closely with the members of the KCT, KLAR’s investment professionals as well as the CFOs of our portfolio companies, to deliver measurable improvements across multiple businesses.Typical Responsibilities Include: Independently analyse Portfolio Company performance and root cause analysisCollaborate closely with Portfolio Companies CFOs & finance teams, alongside KLAR Investment Professionals to identify operational challenges and turn them into scalable solutions.Support in developing and executing on the portfolio company’s data strategy, covering infrastructure, analytics, machine learning, and BI.Analyse and improve processes, finding opportunities to automate and simplify recurring workflows.Explore and apply AI-driven tools in the Portfolio Companies to streamline workflows and boost operational efficiencyThis is a hands-on role where your work directly impacts how businesses operate — not just through analysis, but through practical, implemented change.Who We Are Looking For You’re a technically skilled, business-minded professional who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and collaborating with experienced colleagues. You’re comfortable translating complex data into actionable insights and thrive in environments where you can see tangible results from your work.We believe you’ll thrive if you have: 2–4 years of experience in BI, data analytics, or finance automation.Strong technical skills in Power BI and Excel; ideally also SQL, Python, and experience with data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or Databricks.A solid understanding of financial processes and how technology can improve them.A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Our Way of Working At KLAR, our values — Clarity, Community, Courage, and Curiosity — shape everything we do.
