Main responsibilities include the business development to achieve the targeted revenue and profit metrics by increasing the presence for the iconic brands of Mattel. You will be a core contributor in planning, managing, and executing the business for Mattel in Europe.What Your Impact Will BeManage day-to-day retailer relationships and drive business cycles with key decision makers.Collaborate with customer stakeholders to ensure listings, product availability, and activation of Mattel products.Drive Joint Business Planning initiatives and work with key partners such as Disney, Universal, and Warner.Represent the company during trade fairs and showroom visits, including LA Toy Fair and Nuremberg Toy Fair.Manage Collaborative Forecasting process, including monthly quantity forecasting and near-term turnover forecasting.Collaborate with Supply Chain to develop optimal fulfillment processes for the customer portfolio.Contribute to the ongoing evolution and implementation of the Go to Market strategy with cross-functional teams.Identify shopper and retail trends for business growth and implement initiatives and action plans.Plan and execute customer marketing activities and promotions in collaboration with Shopper Marketing and Brand Activation teams.Monitor KPIs to deliver on objectives, accelerate business growth, and take corrective action when needed.Manage and track allocated budgets, maintain audit trails, and deliver on revenue and profit targets.Act as a center of competence and expertise on retail trends and dynamics for the organization.Sales and Spending ForecastsWho We’re Looking ForUniversity degree in Economics, Business Administration or related field (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma).4 Years of experience in sales, at least 2 years’ experience with managing key accountsSelling & negotiation skills in international environment, preferably acquired in an international/global company with high seasonality.Fluent in English, other Scandinavian languages considered a plus, preferred Danish.Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skillsAttention to detail and process affinityStrong follow-up and prioritization skillsHighly competitive mindset & Business results-oriented ability to perform and manage forecasts Ability to work in a wide variety of projects with tight deadlinesAbility to operate within a matrix business environment and handle diverse audiencesA confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration within an organizationWhat It’s Like To Work HereWe are a purpose driven company aiming to empower the next generation to explore the wonder of childhood and reach their full potential.
