Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which South Korea plays a critical role.We plan to scale South Korea on the back of disruptive product innovation and marketing investments.We are looking for an Associate Online Business Director to lead our eCommerce growth across South Korea. This role owns both online sales and marketing performance, with responsibility for all channels (Naver, Coupang, GMarket, 11st, D2C, vertical players, influencer commerce).ResponsibilitiesSales & Commercial OwnershipOwn and deliver P&L accountability for the online business, including revenue, margin, traffic, conversion, AOV, inventory, and profitability targets.Lead and manage all online channels: Naver, Coupang, GMarket, 11st, D2C, vertical players, social commerce, and live commerce platforms.Develop and implement channel-specific strategies including assortment, pricing, promotional planning, and distribution models.Propose and execute exclusive product sourcing and bundles for DTC and key online retailers, balancing brand equity with commercial growth.Conduct promo effectiveness evaluations and ensure optimal ROI from trade marketing and promotional investments.Monitor and address pricing violations, unauthorized resellers, and grey-market risks, using monitoring tools and driving swift corrective action with internal stakeholders and external partners.Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), campaign calendars, and annual negotiations with e-commerce retailers.Partner with finance and operations to build accurate forecasts, budgets, and revenue targets.Marketing & Channel DevelopmentLead performance marketing investments across all platforms (search, display, retail media, affiliates, social commerce) with clear ROAS and funnel conversion goals.Oversee D2C site management, including UX, merchandising, CRM, content, and analytics.Drive growth in live commerce initiatives, developing execution playbooks, retailer collaboration, and campaign measurement.Ensure full alignment of online marketing with ATL/BTL campaigns to maximize awareness, consideration, and conversion.Drive integration of consumer insights, data analytics, and customer journey behaviors into channel strategies.Collaborate with Brand teams to deliver a seamless and consistent brand identity across all online touchpoints.Evaluate and scale execution partners for media buying, SEO/SEM, creative content, and influencer/social media engagement.Agency, Vendor & Technology ManagementLead governance of external agencies and vendors, including scope definition, KPIs, contracts, and performance reviews.Source and deploy monitoring/analytics systems for pricing control, reseller tracking, and competitive benchmarking.Partner with IT, SCM, and finance on OMS/WMS, CRM, analytics dashboards, and e-commerce infrastructure improvements.People & Partner ManagementBuild and scale a high-performing team across Key Account Management, Online Marketing, and D2C operations.Create a data-driven, high-performance culture grounded in the OE (Outrageously Extraordinary) mindset.Foster strong cross-functional collaboration (Marketing, SCM, Finance, Operations) to deliver seamless execution.Represent the business in senior-level meetings with retailers, digital platforms, and global leadership.Drive critical decisions through data-backed insights and effective stakeholder management.Required Skills And QualificationsHighly motivated individual with 15+ years of experience, with at least 6–8 years in eCommerce specific experience, at least 3 years in leadership roles; proven ability to manage both sales and marketing responsibilities.Demonstrated track record in scaling online businesses across multiple platforms and categories.Strong expertise in assortment, pricing, promotions, and exclusive online products.Experience in digital performance marketing and retail media platforms.Hands-on knowledge of live commerce and social commerce execution.Experience in monitoring and controlling online price and reseller risks, including use or sourcing of monitoring tools.Knowledge of OMS/WMS, CRM, and analytics platforms; ability to drive tech-enabled transformation.Skilled in agency/vendor management and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.A leader with experience working with a global operation model, skilled in managing multiple partners and aligning category strategy with business delivery on owned channel.Commercial mindset with strong project management, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.Your role in leading our success drivers & representing our unique mindset:Lead us to be “RARELY SATISFIED”Make things better each day; “PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION”Use your knowledge of our consumer, understand that “DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE,”Deliver something great; “WINNING IS A TEAM SPORT”Be clear and honest, “COMMUNICATING FOR IMPACT.”Explore SharkNinja On Our Social Channelshttps://www.linkedin.com/company/sharkninja-apac/mycompany/https://www.linkedin.com/company/sharkninja-apac/jobs/
