With more than 30 specialists spanning four offices, including in Brussels, our bench is broad and deep – both in terms of competence and capacity. We integrate leading legal acumen with a commercial mindset and in-depth economic expertise to create value for clients in complex matters. We have a solid track record of advising on high-profile mandates and regularly engage with Swedish authorities and courts, but equally with the European Commission, the EU courts in Luxembourg, and other regulators worldwide.Our ECR team and practice have grown significantly in recent years, and we are now looking for additional Associates (around 2-5 years’ experience) or Economists (of similar tenure) to join our team.Why join ECR at VingeFull-spectrum practice. You will work across the entire range of EU and competition law. Our on-going mandates span abuse of dominance, cartels, investigations, state aid, regulatory procedures (merger control and FDI), vertical/horizontal agreements, public procurement, private enforcement, and sector-specific regulation.Cross-sectorial clientele. Our client base is broad, and you will be exposed to cases in, for instance, technology and IT, life sciences, industrials, renewables, M&A and private equity.Unrivalled merger control and FDI platform. Our team is the Nordic market leader in domestic and international merger control and FDI, regularly handling complex, multi-jurisdictional filings. Over the years, we have accumulated hands-on experience from more than 50 jurisdictions and have close ties to a trusted network of local counsel.Integrated economic expertise. We have the largest in-house team of economists in Sweden. The team, led by our Chief Economist, provides economic analyses in competition and procurement cases as well as disputes — capabilities that Vinge pioneered in the Swedish legal market.Public procurement excellence. Our procurement specialists bring unparalleled senior expertise, including a former Justice of the Supreme Administrative Court.What You Will DoIn this role, you will be trusted team member in matters relating to investigations, disputes, large scale M&A and general legal advice. You will have regular contact with authorities such as the Swedish Competition Authority and the European Commission, but also the courts in Sweden and Luxembourg. In addition, you will actively contribute to business development and knowledge sharing within your areas of expertise.In your day-to-day work, you will be given the opportunity – and responsibility – to manage workflows, carry out in-depth legal analyses and draft submissions, notifications and engage in client-facing work from day one. You will support, and be supported by, top-tier sector specialists and economists, including four PhDs (three in law, one in economics).
