You will be joining an international team of experienced electrical engineering specialists.Together You WillDesign and deliver critical Power primary, substation, and infrastructure-related projects across a vast range of project typesCreate High Voltage (HV 220kV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV 500kV) electrical conceptual and detailed designsUse the latest digital design technologies to prepare substation layouts, equipment specifications, HV/MV cable sizing calculations, earthing design, and apply safety standardsCoach, mentor, and develop the next generation of Primary Electrical EngineersSupport training and verification processes for engineering teamsLead work packages and be accountable for financial and programme outcomesSupport client management, bidding, and preparation of project proposalsManage multiple workstreams and adapt to changing project deliverables and timeframesCommunicate proactively with stakeholders and collaborate with Beca’s leading design expertsCareer development opportunities exist including moving across technical, design, technology, people, client or business leadership pathways.Ko wai koe | About youYour primary and substation design skills are grounded in solid fundamentals, proven through experience leading Primary design on complex substation projects.
