If you would like to be part of the team which makes this happen, then this position is for you.In EMEA Construction Procurement, we select contractors who build our service centers. We select them through a competitive tender procedure involving a lot of negotiations, while working closely with internal stakeholders like finance, project managers, design managers and many others.The goal of our team (the one you are going to join) is to make every service center as phenomenal as our products and services are. So, you will help us make every store and service center look amazing and create a unique experience for every customer walking in.As Associate Project Buyer, you will execute the EMEA Sales and Service Infrastructure Development sourcing strategy. Our team onboards and appoints contractors and other vendors required for the expansion, remodeling and building improvement of Tesla’s Service Center network. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of projects and the organization.This role will report to the Team Lead of EMEA InfraDev Construction Procurement.This role is on a twelve month contract.What You'll DoPre-qualify suppliers/contractors by assessing their financial credibility, insurance policies and past project experience for efficient execution of Tesla’s scope of work. Manage and develop onboarded suppliers by demonstrating strong supplier relationship management. Issue RFx (RFQ, RFB, and RFP) for sourcing assigned commodities/services. Review, analyze and clarify bid packages received from suppliers and service providers. Lead contract negotiations.Make and present recommendations to award after performing a detailed bid analysis ensuring identical scope inclusion for all bids. Lead problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives to improve InfraDev construction procurement processes. What You'll BringInitial experience in supply chain/procurement/purchasing roles. Experience in construction (procurement) is a big plus. Highly organized, able to independently manage multiple projects in various phases simultaneously. Self-motivated and outspoken about what is needed to get a job done. Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve. Domestic and International travel (average of 10 - 20% of the time) is required to attend bid walks and engage with suppliers, possibly on short notice. Fluent in English and one other European language (Norwegian or German are a big plus). Role is based in Amsterdam, must be able to regularly be present at the office. , Tesla
