The institute collaborates with international organizations such as CGIAR and FAO to achieve its goals.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Bahir Dar City, Amhara, Ethiopia. The Associate Researcher will be responsible for conducting agricultural research, analyzing data, developing and implementing projects, and disseminating research findings to stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with local farmers and communities to implement new technologies and practices, assisting in capacity-building initiatives, and contributing to the overall goals of ARARI.QualificationsExperience in agricultural research, data analysis, and project managementKnowledge of crop improvement, and natural resource managementSkills in communication, collaboration, and capacity-building with local communities and stakeholdersAbility to work on-site in Bahir Dar City and adapt to local conditionsBachelor's or Master’s degree in Agricultural biotechnologyExperience with international agricultural organizations or projects is a plusFluency in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage
