Associate / Senior Associate - Portfolio

Summary: Multiply Group is an Abu Dhabi-based investment holding company listed on the ADX. We own and invest in businesses across a range of industries around the world. We deploy two broad investment strategies: 1) vertical building, using an anchor/bolt-on approach to drive top-line and profitability growth; and 2) deploying capital in an opportunistic manner.Within vertical building, we focus on industries going through long-term change and with significant opportunity for growth. These are: mobility, wellness, beauty, media, energy, and retail.The Portfolio team is responsible for driving value creation and EBITDA uplift across our businesses within the Vertical Building platform. Multiply Group is seeking a Senior Associate to join the team.This individual will play a key role in overseeing operational improvement initiatives, collaborating with portfolio company management teams, and supporting transformative projects aimed at enhancing EBITDA and long-term value creation. The Senior Associate will work closely with Portfolio Directors and portfolio company executives.Role Responsibilities: Supporting 100-day plans and transformation roadmaps:Gathering and analyzing operational and financial data to inform action plansMaintaining project trackers, performance dashboards, and milestonesConducting performance monitoring and predictive analysis:Identifying trends and potential challenges across multiple portfolio companiesProviding fact-based insights that help anticipate risks and opportunitiesExecuting value creation initiatives:Contributing to specific workstreams (e.g., cost optimization, digital enhancements)Tracking results against defined targets and reporting progress to Portfolio ManagersCreating robust value creation plans during the investment process:Assisting in due diligence, synergy identification, and M&A integrationTranslating operational findings into actionable recommendationsTechnology/AI awareness:Staying informed on market trends and new innovations (e.g., AI-driven tools)Exploring how emerging technologies can improve both personal productivity and portfolio company performanceDriving industry research:Ensuring key market trends are followed proactivelyMaking recommendations to senior leaders based on said trendsParticipating in team development:Engaging with senior team members to learn best practices in driving operational changeSharing insights and results with colleagues to foster a high-performance cultureRequired skills & Qualifications: (non-negotiable; all requirements are a must have): 6–10 years of relevant experience, ideally from a top consultancy or investment bank, with exposure to institutional investorsDemonstrated track record in:Financial/operational analysis (e.g., modelling, dashboards, KPI tracking)Supporting complex transformation or strategic initiativesCommunicating insights effectively to senior stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required; MBA or Master’s degree is strongly preferredSolid understanding of how analysis and recommendations tie back to EBITDA/ROIAbility to learn new technologies, including AI tools, and apply them for business impactAdditional information: In-person presence, in Abu Dhabi, is requiredTravel may be required as and when needed
