Associate / Senior Associate – Principal Investing (Energy & Logistics)

Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading global commodity trading house is looking to add an Associate or Senior Associate to its growing Principal Investing team. This platform deploys balance sheet capital to make strategic, long-term investments across the energy and logistics value chain, with a flexible capital structure and no fixed hold period. Investments span the full spectrum—from traditional oil & gas through to renewables and energy transition assets.What You’ll Do:Support origination, evaluation, and execution of principal investmentsConduct financial modeling, valuation, and industry analysisParticipate in due diligence, transaction structuring, and portfolio monitoringWork closely with senior leadership across trading, strategy, and investmentsDevelop insights across energy, logistics, and broader commodity marketsWhat We’re Looking For:2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A, Natural Resources, Energy, Infrastructure) and/or Private EquityStrong analytical, modeling, and execution capabilitiesSector familiarity across energy, logistics, infrastructure, or renewablesAbility to work in a lean, entrepreneurial environmentA genuine interest in real assets, energy markets, and the commodity value chainThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-caliber team deploying patient, flexible capital within a market-leading commodities platform.
