Job Description

To be the subject matter expert in Structure Products and solutions offered in the in-country consumer banking platformMeet revenue targets and products P & L on overall and per channelSupport new product, service initiatives and proposition launches on all bank channels – Traditional and DigitalDigitalization of investment platform by enhancing the program and customer roadmaps, program development, program launches, and program marketing.Execute the client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation for RHB clients.Prepare materials for the sale and recommendation / distribution of products; Ensure that the products and materials offered are compliant with internal and external regulatory requirementsSupport regular coaching, training and market/product briefings to sales staff to enhance their functional competencies & professionalism, raise the level of proficiency and technical expertise of the RMs, in their course of interacting with customers.Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to achieve greater penetration of Structure Products across Bankers/Clients via close collaborations and other initiativesBuild strong relationships with various fund house partners to come up with best ideas, support sales related activities eg. Client events, product launches, other marketing and branding activities.To have a keen understanding and full awareness of, and adherence to, in-country regulatory framework, rules of engagement in the sales and marketing of investment products, as well as legal and compliance guidelines.Responsible for Treasury product life cycle product management, development and strategy.Manage end-to-end product development lifecycle, i.e. responsible for timely and successful product launch.Work with WM Advisory team for market views and utilize the information for product ideas.Work with Treasury Advisory Investment on derivative products with equity, credit interest rate, commodities underlying and fixed income.Ensure products are continuously in full compliance with internal and external regulations, guidelines and policies.Assess market competition by comparing the Bank’s product to competitors’ products. Identify the Bank’s product unique selling points and share with distribution on how to position / pitch the Bank’s product over competitors’ productsStudy market condition, provide fund focus and model portfolio with house view, market outlook, and thorough analysis on economic cycle, bottom up and top down analysis.
