Job Title: Associate Technical Support EngineerLocation: Seoul, Korea (Hybrid initially, transitioning to Remote)Duration: 12 Months (Contract)Experience Level: 5–6 YearsLanguage Requirement: Korean (Mandatory)Compensation: Market Rate (Hourly Basis)About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Associate Technical Support Engineer to join our client’s Technical Support team in Seoul. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to enterprise customers, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.This role requires a strong technical background in Linux/UNIX systems, networking protocols, and web technologies, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by enterprise customers related to the company’s infrastructure and products.Independently analyze and solve complex technical problems; escalate to engineering teams when required.Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Product teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.Document technical solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.Mentor junior team members and promote best practices within the technical support organization.Collect and prioritize customer feedback, converting insights into technical requirements for product enhancement.Occasionally support outside of standard working hours as needed.Required Skills and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Experience: 5–6 years of hands-on experience in technical support, systems administration, or engineering roles.Technical Expertise:Strong hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux systems and shell scripting.Deep understanding of DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, network routing, and common network protocols.Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, mtr, etc.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong communication skills in Korean (mandatory) and English (a plus).Customer-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why Join UsOpportunity to work with a globally recognized technology organization.Hybrid and remote work flexibility.Collaborative, multicultural work environment.Exposure to advanced technologies and continuous learning opportunities.
