We deliver regular training and networking events, both online and in-person, hold an annual conference and keep our members updated through regular forms of communication.Role SummaryWe are looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Director and senior leadership team. This role involves managing events from start to finish, providing administrative support, and assisting with the delivery of our annual three-day conference.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate corporate events and manage event logistics including invitations, registrations, venues, speakers, recordings and follow-upMaintain membership records, including processing applications and managing the databaseProcess invoices and expensesRespond to membership and public queriesKeep website content updatedSupport the planning and delivery of the annual conferenceSupport the ED in preparing key documentsManage diaries and schedule meetingsAssist the ED and Board with other initiativesWhat We Are Looking ForExperience in corporate event managementConfidence in Zoom and Teams, including webinar hosting and registrationOrganisational and multitasking skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThis role requires a broad skill set, but if you have gaps, we still encourage you to apply if you bring the right attitude and a willingness to learn.Working Schedule20 hours per week, primarily remoteTwo days per month on-site in Auckland at a member’s premisesAvailability to work until 7.00pm in Auckland CBD on the second Wednesday of each monthFlexibility during non-event weeksThis role may suit:Someone looking to enter the professional services sector while studyingA parent seeking reduced hours and flexibilityCandidates who have worked in client services, marketing, administration, or personal assistant rolesHow To ApplySend your cover letter and CV to: barbara@ritanz.org.nzApplications will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.Must have full right to work in New Zealand.
