Job Description

Job PurposeLead and oversee the end-to-end Billing to Cash process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, efficient cash application, and resolution of customer disputes. This role also manages a team of up to 10 people, driving performance, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize working capital and strengthen customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of up to 10 Billing to Cash specialists, providing coaching, guidance, and performance managementGenerate and issue accurate customer invoices in line with contracts and company policiesMonitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue paymentsApply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and timelyInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with internal teams and customersPrepare aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and collection performance metricsCollaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to improve billing accuracy and reduce disputesEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirementsHandle logistic claims, ensuring proper validation, documentation, and settlement with customers and logistics partnersManage return notes from customers, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and coordination with warehouse, finance, customer and tax teamsQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering etcAny years of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash processesStrong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting toolsExcellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skillsAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilityAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressurePreferred AttributesExperience in shared services or multinational environmentsFamiliarity with SOX compliance and internal audit requirementsKnowledge of credit risk assessment and collection strategiesContinuous improvement mindsetUnilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
