Job SummaryThe Offshore Engineer is responsible for overseeing and executing fabrication, erection, and piping activities in offshore construction projects. This role ensures that all work is performed in accordance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.Key Responsibilities:Fabrication:Review and interpret offshore fabrication drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.Supervise fabrication of pipe spools, structural components, and skids.ErectionPlan and execute erection of piping systems, supports, and structural assemblies.Monitor alignment, leveling, and fit-up of erected components.PipingOversee installation and testing of piping systems (hydrostatic/pneumatic).Ensure proper routing, support installation, and welding quality.Coordination & Planning:Interface with planning, procurement, and construction teams.Track progress and report deviations from schedule.Safety & ComplianceEnforce offshore safety standards and permit-to-work systems.Conduct toolbox talks and ensure team adherence to HSE protocols.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Structural Engineering.5–10 years of experience in offshore fabrication, erection, and piping.Familiarity with offshore construction practices and standards.
