We emphasize fun, safety, and good sportsmanship over a "win-at-all-costs" mentality.Position Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Athletic Director to oversee weekend game day operations and ensure the smooth execution of our youth sports programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has a passion for working with families, staff, and community partners.Key Responsibilities:Weekend Game Day Management:Ensure all weekend venues are running smoothly, from start to finish. Be on-site or on-call to handle issues as they arise.Staff Coordination:Confirm that all game day staff (site managers, officials, coaches, etc.) are scheduled, informed, and prepared each weekend.Equipment Oversight:Ensure that all necessary equipment is packed, transported, and set up properly at each venue. Coordinate return and storage post-game day.Pre-Game Preparation:Support any necessary weekday prep for the weekend, including setting up materials, reviewing rosters, and confirming schedules.Communication & Reporting:Complete weekend manager notes to document any updates, incidents, or needs for the following weekend. Communicate with the Program Director weekly to review operations and staffing.Team Collaboration:Meet with other Athletic Directors as needed to ensure consistency and share best practices across venues.Preseason & Marketing Duties:Assist with preseason jersey sorting, uniform prep, and equipment storage organization. Handle road sign placement and support light grassroots marketing efforts.Venue Staffing:Monitor all sites to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage.
