Are you living your life's work?SummaryPosition Summary:Athletic Trainers ATs work under the supervision of a physician to provide injury prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, while demonstrating professional and organizational skills to promote the health and well-being to the patients they serve. They may work in the clinic or outreach setting at the highest level of their licensure and conduct themselves in accordance with the professional standards set forth by the BOC and Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians.Physician Relations - Ensures staff appropriately interact with physicians. As appropriate, seeks physician input on necessary clinical matters.Will help identify opportunities, build relationships with, and help secure additional secondary school, college, youth program, and or event contracts.Review quality and appropriateness of services delivered for effectiveness and efficiency using predetermined quality assurance criteria.Act as liaison between customers, patients, support staff and or physicians.Responsible for wound care and wound dressing.Help maintain a clean, comfortable, orderly and safe working environment.Other duties as assigned.:Graduate of CAATE approved Athletic Training Program.Master’s Degree required; unless employee graduated prior to 2022BOC CertifiedMaintains valid PA State Athletic Training licenseMaintains CPR Healthcare BLS certification.Maintains CEU requirements to stay in compliance with BOC requirementsMaintains valid Driver’s LicenseDemonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
