Player Liaison Officer

Athlone Town AFC is inviting applications for the role of Player Liaison Officer with our Women’s SeniorTeam. This is a vital off-pitch role, centred on supporting and caring for our players’ wellbeing, ensuring they arefully supported in their personal and professional needs outside of matchday and training. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide holistic support for players’ wellbeing, acting as the main point of contact for personal and welfare needs. Build positive relationships with players, creating a safe and supportive environment. Assist with logistics including travel, accommodation, schedules, and general off-field organisation. Ensure clear communication between players, coaching staff, and the club.

The Ideal CandidateA caring, approachable, and empathetic individual with a strong interest in player welfare. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities. Experience in player welfare, team management, or pastoral support is an advantage but not essential. Passionate about women’s football and supporting athletes to thrive both on and off the pitch.
