In this role, you will guide participants through remote recording sessions using our internal recording tool, ensure proper execution of the audio collection requirements, and help facilitate the generation of high-quality conversational data.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative initiative aimed at improving the recognition of foreground and background speakers in natural conversations.Role SummaryThe Audio Session Lead will work remotely and is responsible for managing assigned group sessions, supporting participants during live audio collection activities, and ensuring all project requirements are met. This includes guiding participants through protocol tasks, addressing troubleshooting needs, overseeing smooth session flow, offloading data, and documenting daily progress.Role ResponsibilitiesGuide participants through the audio collection protocol and ensure successful completion of session tasksFoster a positive participant experience while maintaining project quality standardsLead remote group conversations and keep sessions on scheduleTroubleshoot device or software issues (Mac OS / Windows) in real timeOffload, upload, and validate collected dataAcknowledge and resolve participant questions; escalate unresolved issues as neededInteract with project tools, hardware, and software systemsTrack daily progress and submit concise daily reports to the Project Manager and Production teamAdhere to all project documentation, instructions, and quality guidelinesRole RequirementsAbility to work weekdays (Monday–Friday), morning or afternoon (US Eastern time zone); estimated shifts: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM EST or 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM ESTProfessional fluency in English, with the ability to relay complex instructions clearly to remote participantsAbility to communicate technical information clearly and empathetically to a non-technical audienceComfortable working remotely for the full project durationExperience using both Mac OS and Windows devicesHigh attention to detail and accuracyCustomer-service oriented, with the ability to stay calm and supportive in live environmentsStrong integrity, work ethic, and accountability in a project-based settingAbility to monitor, update, and maintain daily tracking and reportingExperience with data collection, research facilitation, or user study moderation is preferredDataForce by TransPerfect is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business, with offices in more than 100 cities worldwide.
