Your work will directly influence the quality, clarity, and performance of the audio systems in premium vehicles.Your main responsibilities include:1. MicrophonesCollaborate with suppliers on audio and installation requirements.Plan and execute tuning activities.2. Audio FrameworkPerform design reviews and evaluate filters, filter types, and phase settings.Assess and evaluate third-party audio modules.Map signal flow and identify test points for audio systems.Define verification methods and review tool specifications.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure correct integration.3. ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) & RNC (Road Noise Cancellation)Conduct Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for ANC and RNC technologies.Evaluate measurements, prototypes, and software algorithms.Procure required resources such as trucks, prototypes, and measurement equipment.4. Audio Testing & CodecsDevelop models for electrical audio testing in addition to in-cabin acoustic testing.Automate PC-based testing procedures, evaluating signal flow and delay.Select suitable audio codecs and manage new listening positions in both channel-based and logical contexts.5. Sound Improvement ModulesIdentify and evaluate integrated modules provided by tier-1 suppliers, including cost and use-cases.Define requirements for missing modules and ensure compatibility with listening positions.Measure and evaluate speakers, adapting them to new cabin designs.Plan and execute tuning activities.👤 WHO YOU AREWe are looking for a hands-on, analytical, and solution-oriented engineer with a solid understanding of audio technologies and system integration.
