Our audit professionals’ foremost responsibility is to serve investors, the capital markets, audit committees, and management with reasonable assurance.Position: ManagerDepartment: AuditLocation: KuwaitMinimum Qualification:Degree with an accounting majorQualification –CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a mustPractical knowledge of IFRS and ISAExperience Expected:Arabic Speaking (Writing and reading)Professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalentAt least 7-8 years of professional experience in external auditThorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and experience in managing teamsExperience with a Big 4 accounting firmExperience with the risk-based audit approachUnderstanding of currently applicable and upcoming IFRS and ISACoaching, mentoring, and counseling experienceFluent English communication skills and effective presentation skillsRoles and Responsibilities:Overseeing and directing work at the client's premises and liaising with clients at the highest level.Ensuring the firm is compliant with risk management procedures.Analyze problems, identify core issues, investigate, evaluate, and integrate information.Providing strong leadership and direction to the designated team.Experience in managing a group of people and directing their behavior toward the firm’s values and beliefs.Experience in presenting technical courses on auditing standards, as well as International Financial Reporting Standards.Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature, trends, and technical issues relevant to the client's industryOversee engagement management, including managing the budget, resourcing strategy, billing and collections, and progress against the plan, timeline, and milestonesYou'll actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships and confirm that work delivered to clients is of a high qualitySet the culture for the engagement team and mentor members in their career developmentBuild and manage client relationships and accounts, including driving the client experience on engagementsUnderstand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology and the Risk Management policies and proceduresMentoring and coaching of middle management team and Providing feedback to employees on their performance against the objectives you set for them.
