Our cutting-edge supply chain technology pairs with the expertise of our brilliant minds to empower logistics execution across North America and Mexico.Leveraging a comprehensive range of services, data-centric network solutions, and a seamlessly integrated platform, we have established our prominence as a key player in the mid-market segment within the freight tech industry.Whether you’re just starting your career or are an established professional looking for your next opportunity, Redwood inspires innovation across teams to provide transformative solutions for our customers.Purpose Of Your WorkAs Auditor- Freight Payment and Audit working within Managed Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for processing and auditing carrier invoices efficiently and expeditiously in accordance with carrier and/or customer contracts.How You Make a Difference EverydayEnter carrier freight billsAudit carrier freight billsInvestigate and respond to billing issues/inquiriesUnderstand LTL carrier pricing, tariffs, accessorial charges, and reasons why invoices fail auditUnderstand Truckload carrier pricing and reasons why invoices fail auditPrepare and analyze data to manage carrier payablesPerform other clerical/office work as needed, including but not limited to answering phone calls, operating general office equipment (computer, scanner)Corresponding with internal and external teams as needed to ensure timely/accurate payment to carriersIdentify reasons why invoices fail audit and work with carriers or internal team members to resolve the root causesEnsure all customer invoices are processed successfully and with accurate chargesEffectively manage invoice work queues to ensure all invoices are processed and paid to carriers and billed to clients within 90 days of deliveryYou’ve Got This?Bi-lingual in English/Spanish; proficient level for verbal and written communicationAbility to read, analyze, and interpret freight payment procedures and carrier pricing contractAbility to present information, respond to questions, and provide answers to vendors and/or internal teams as it relates to carrier freight billsUnderstanding of the LTL and Truckload transportation industryUnderstanding of carrier pricing and invoice detailsAbility to manage many different customer requirements for invoice auditStrong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within a team environmentExperience with OTM, Mercury Gate, Excel, Zendesk, Teams, and OutlookTeam player in discrepancy resolution, with freight rating and accessorial understandingPrevious Accounts Payable experience, preferably processingWhat We OfferAccess to experts and resources for your Learning & Development journeyOpportunity for internal mobilityEmployee referral bonus programEmployee Resource Groups (ERGs)Annual fundraising and volunteer events to give back to communitiesLife Insurance policy for you starting 30 days after employmentPersonal Health Insurance coverage for you – Major Medical30 days “Aguinaldo” Christmas bonus or prorated percentage your first yearVacation time starting at 12 days.
