Join our Audit LC&I teamThe Audit LC&I team is growing and Danske Bank, a leader in financial services in the Nordic region, is seeking an experienced and resourceful auditor. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the oversight and enhancement of audit practices within Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) — a critical area of the bank’s operations. While LC&I has its roots in the Nordic region, its reach extends internationally to the US, UK, Poland and Ireland.LC&I business activities encompass a wide range of areas, including Asset Management, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Investment Banking (primary market activities), Fund Management, Markets (secondary market activities), Strategy & Development and Transaction Banking.You will contribute to projects spanning all aspects of LC&I. However, we are particularly looking for someone with experience in auditing payments-related processes and a solid understanding of IT systems auditing.Responsibilities:Being part of the LC&I team, some of your areas of responsibility will be to: Lead or contribute to audit projects within the Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) area, ensuring comprehensive coverage of risks related to the LC&I financial services and product offerings. This also includes quality assuring the work of others. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes relevant to LC&I and provide value adding insights on areas for improvement. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with LC&I representatives, ensuring a collaborative and transparent dialogue around current and developing risks. Assist in the risk assessment of the LC&I business and give input to our audit response. Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure that audit activities are effectively capturing high risk areas. Requirements:The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: A bachelor’s degree in finance, Auditing, Business Administration or a related field. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an audit, compliance or risk function. Demonstrated experience with LC&I business activities, products and associated risks (payments are considered an advantage). Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and attention to details. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of management and staff. Knowledge of IT and data governance (considered an advantage). Familiarity with regulatory compliance and regulations related to payments, investor protection and market integrity (considered an advantage).
