About the OpportunityLocated centrally in St Leonards, near public transport and other convenient facilities, you will report to the CEO deploying your superior HR skills and experience to heighten the staff engagement and facilitate a great place-to-work culture. You will lead to create a safe and transparent environment, support team managers to capitalise on staff talents and contribute to building and implementing HR programs to align with company goals and values. Your Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all HR and WHS legal and compliance obligations are met in a timely mannerMaintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
Manage Employment Hero and employment information captured in this systemUpdate employee and WHS policies through template provided and ensure policy awarenessCollaborate with team managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategiesPlace job ads, prepare managers to select and interview candidates, conduct referee checksProvide onboard and offboarding support to managersEnsure position descriptions, KPIs and contracts are up to dateManage performance development plan process and ensure training and support offered to staffCounselling and coaching our staff on HR mattersHandle employee relations matters, addressing grievances, and conflicts, and foster positive working relationshipsManage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable offeringsAnalyse employee feedback and engagement survey results to identify areas for improvement and implement action plansDevelop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfactionAssist with building maintenanceCarry out HR administrative duties.
About YouAt least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role with suitable qualification/s and affiliationsOutstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with stakeholders and team members at all levelsAbility to multitask and prioritiseExcellent verbal and written communication with impeccable attention to detailA genuine care and desire to support our team and deliver an amazing experienceStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on innovative solutionsA passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work cultureDemonstrated working knowledge and understanding of employment and WHS legislations. .
