For more information about AERO, visit https: //edresearch. edu. auPurposeThe role provides graphic design support services to the Australian Education Research Organisation by producing artwork and graphic design for internal and external collateral including websites, templates, reports, presentations, infographics and social media. AccountabilitiesProvide graphic design and artwork services for internal and external communications, including effective job management and version control - from initial concepts through to final art.
Implement the brand guidelines and be a brand champion. Ensure all work meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2. 0. Create graphics (illustrations, graphs, charts, infographics) and source photos for presentations, internal and external communications material, videos, the AERO website and a range of other digital products. Arrange and oversee the production of material for publication and external use - checking accuracy, quality, accessibility and appropriate use of branding. Liaise, consult and collaboratively work up design briefs - from scoping concepts to creating artwork, and through to final delivery and publication.
Essential RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent relevant experience Key Knowledge And ExperienceKnowledge and up-to-date experience in publication design (print and digital) in a business environment Knowledge and experience in digital design including infographics, illustrations, social media, eDMs, PowerPoint presentations, etc. Software skills: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Windows OSAERO particularly welcomes applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
