Dedicate ourselves to our customer’s successCompete and win with integrityCreate innovative solutions with science and technologyTeam and collaborate with accountabilityJOB SUMMARY The General Manager (GM) will lead Authentix’s operations in Morocco, overseeing the implementation and management of the national Fuel Integrity Program in partnership with the Customs and Indirect Tax Administration (ADII) and the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development (DTE). This role requires strategic leadership, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement to ensure program success across fuel marking, testing, compliance, and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions listed below are representative of the functions that must be performed to satisfactorily fulfill the purpose of this job. Additional functions and duties may be assumed or assigned from time-to-time. Program Leadership: Direct all aspects of the Morocco Fuel Integrity Program at the country-level, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and Authentix’s global strategyTeam Management: Build, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary in-country team including Country Managers who oversee operations, QHSE, laboratory, and field-testing personnelStakeholder Engagement:
Serve as the primary liaison with ADII, DTE, oil marketing companies (OMCs), and other government entities; represent the company with key external stakeholders, including partners, sector-wide networks, and governmentOperational Oversight: Ensure effective execution of marking and testing operations at depots, terminals, and retail stations; oversee infrastructure including warehouses, labs, and mobile testing units; obtain necessary inputs/guidance from other internal stakeholders ensuring program goals are achieved. Oversee subcontractors to ensure performance standards area being met in conformance with the established agreements. Compliance and Reporting:
Monitor regulatory developments, ensure SOP adherence, and deliver high-quality reports to internal and external stakeholdersBudget and Risk Mitigation: Develop, manage, and present monthly budgets, mitigate operational risks, and ensure cost-effective delivery of servicesTechnology Integration: Oversee deployment and use of management systems that support data collection, compliance, reporting, traceability, and decision-making protocols. Provide regular updates to internal / external stakeholders. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of this job.
Minimum of seven (7) years of senior management experience in international operations, preferably in fuel integrity, compliance, or other government programsExperience negotiating with government officials and national level organizations and leaders, as well as networking with industry leadersProven ability to lead large, diverse teams in complex regulatory environments; empower and engage all levels of personnel;Demonstrated strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skillsAbility to prioritize a diverse and heavy workload and meet tight deadlinesFamiliarity with Moroccan regulatory frameworks and customs operations preferredFluency in English and French; Arabic is a plusWillingness to reside full-time in Morocco and travel as needed
