Join us and contribute to a culture where learning is constant, collaboration is natural, and growth is inevitable.About Your TeamYou’ll be part of the Authorities Liaison department, reporting to the Site Authorities Manager and working closely with QAQC, Operations, and Site Engineering teams. You’ll attend inspections, coordinate documentation, and help manage the authority approval process from start to finish. Your ability to engage confidently with both internal and external stakeholders will make a tangible difference every day on site.Your RoleAs Junior Authorities Engineer, you will:Confirm that all approved authority drawings are available on site.Cross-check for clashes between approved authority drawings and shop drawings.Prepare all documents and test results required for municipality structural inspections, coordinating with Site Engineers and QAQC teams.Ensure ALEC’s internal structural inspections are completed before municipality inspections.Submit inspection requests to the Municipality Engineer.Attend and support structural inspections conducted by the Municipality.Conduct inspections with engineers from local authorities such as ADM, TAQA, ADCD, Etisalat, and Du.Prepare daily task reports and weekly inspection summaries.Attend relevant site meetings, including safety and design coordination, as assigned by your line manager.Participate in internal department meetings and contribute to periodic reporting.Attend any required exams by local authorities related to ALEC licensing, as scheduled by your HOD.Support with other duties or tasks as assigned by the Site Authorities Manager.Comply with ALEC’s company culture, strategic goals, values, Code of Conduct, and corporate policies.Take ownership of your own professional development and ongoing learning.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering0–2 years of relevant experienceUAE Society of Engineers (SOE) MembershipRegistered with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM)Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority portals and inspection workflowsSkills That Will Set You ApartProficiency in English and Arabic (written and verbal)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsSolid computer literacy, including:Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)AutoCADRevitAbility to work independently and within a teamEagerness to learn and take initiativeResponsible, reliable, and detail-focusedResilient attitude and ability to work in a dynamic site environmentAligned with ALEC’s core values: Integrity, Courage, Reliability, Value Our PeopleWhat We OfferReal-world experience on major UAE construction projectsA supportive team environment that fosters growth and learningExposure to high-profile projects and regulatory bodiesFull-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, UAEReady to Launch Your Career with ALEC?If you’re looking to build your future in construction by starting strong in authorities liaison—this is your moment.Join ALEC Building and become part of a team that believes in doing things right the first time, together.Apply now and let’s build something exceptional.
