We are looking for an efficient, detail-oriented, Journeyman body technician to join our team at our Cochrane location.RequirementsThe technician must be able to work independently at identifying and repairing damage on all makes and models.Use of frame machines to straighten bent frames and unitized bodiesRemoval of badly damaged sections of vehicles (e.g. roof, rear body panels, etc.) and weld in new sections following OEM specificationsRepair damage to body panels and weld sheet metalCurrent knowledge of the changes in plastics, electronics, metals, finishes and vehicle systemsAlberta Auto Body Collision and Damage Repairer (310B) or Red Seal License (310Q) 2-3 years experience or in a registered apprenticeship program (3rd year preferred). I-Car Platinum or Gold Class (preferred) or work towards certification.
