CSN Autolab is expanding and opening a brand new second location in the heart of the Glendeer Automall. We are currently hiring a skilled and meticulous Auto Body Prepper to become a valued member of our team. The primary duties of the Auto Body Prepper involve preparing vehicles for the painting process, which includes tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking. This role also offers the potential for advancement within our paint department.Key Responsibilities:Sand the vehicle surfaces using sandpaper, grinders, or other tools to create a smooth surface for paintingApply masking tape and paper to protect areas of the vehicle that will not be paintedPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primerEnsure proper adhesion of paint by removing dirt, debris, and imperfections from the surfacesAssist with mixing paint and primers according to manufacturer specificationsAssist with operating and maintaining painting equipment and toolsCollaborate with the painting team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or managerRequirementsRequirementsQualifications and Requirements:Previous experience as an Auto Body Prepper or in a similar roleKnowledge of different types of sanding and masking techniquesFamiliarity with automotive paints, primers, and painting equipmentAbility to work independently and as a team playerExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsStrong problem-solving and time management skillsPhysical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or equivalentBenefitsCompany benefitsPaid VacationPaid HolidaysBrand new collision center with new booths and equipment
