Automation and Controls Engineer

Title: Controls EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GADuration: 12 MonthsKey Responsibilities:Develop, test, and optimize PLC code using Beckhoff TwinCAT and EtherCAT.Improve diagnostics, HMI messaging, and fault logging.Integrate and validate PLC-based safety systems (ISO 13849 / IEC 62061).Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, and quality system requirements.Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and reports.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.8+ years in controls engineering, including 4+ years with Beckhoff TwinCAT and EtherCAT.Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical or cGMP).Knowledge of Siemens and B&R systems is a plus.
