Job Title: Automation EngineerLocation: Copenhagen, DenmarkEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading engineering and automation company based in Copenhagen, specializing in the manufacturing and integration of industrial/automation machinery solutions across multiple industries.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join a skilled technical team developing and commissioning advanced automation solutions. You will work on complete project life cycles — from concept and design to installation and commissioning — ensuring smooth and reliable process operation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and test PLC and HMI systems for industrial automation projects.Collaborate with project managers and electrical designers to deliver automation solutions on time and within scope.Participate in on-site commissioning and troubleshooting.Support system upgrades, diagnostics, and optimizing control performance.Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with company and client standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, or Controls Engineering (or relevant field).Solid experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).Hands-on experience developing HMI interfaces.Experience with SCADA systems (WinCC, iFIX, Wonderware, or similar) is considered a strong advantage.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in project teams.Excellent communication both written and spoken in English and Danish
