🚀 Automation Engineer – Production Line Reprogramming (Onsite, Stockholm)We’re looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to take the lead on reprogramming and further developing a pre-assembly piston production line. This is a hands-on, onsite role in Stockholm, where you’ll work directly on live production systems to improve performance, reliability, and safety.Using Siemens TIA Portal (v17+), you will design new logic, optimize existing automation, and drive meaningful change across both industrial and IT environments.🔧 What You’ll Do✨ Develop control logic in Siemens TIA Portal (LAD, GRAPH, SCL).🧩 Architect and program the PPAP software system with robust signal models.🤝 Reprogram and enhance existing production line automation with cross-functional teams.🔌 Integrate and troubleshoot OPC UA, Profinet, Cognex vision systems.🛡 Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all automation solutions.🖥️ Support simulation and virtual commissioning.🌐 Diagnose industrial network and communication protocol issues.📦 Create modular, reusable, scalable automation architectures.🎓 What You Bring✔ 7+ years delivering Siemens TIA Portal automation projects.✔ 3+ years creating machine logic from scratch.✔ Strong background in modular, reusable code design.✔ Experience reprogramming or upgrading existing production lines.✔ Knowledge of traceability systems, multi-variant logic, MES integration (big plus).✔ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation or related field.✔ Strong English communication (Swedish is a bonus).✔ A hands-on mindset with strong collaboration and ownership skills.🛂 Eligibility Requirements📍 Must be able to work onsite in Stockholm.🚗 Able to commute daily to the work location.🟦 Must hold a valid Swedish visa and work permit (mandatory).🇸🇪 Must already be authorized to work in Sweden.📢 Ready to join a high-impact, hands-on automation project?
