As an Automation Tester, you will design and execute manual and automated tests, build and maintain test frameworks, and collaborate with all stakeholders and partners to support Simpson Strong-Tie’s application development. What you'll be doing Review and analyze requirements, then create manual test cases and convert them into automation scripts for effective testing.Execute both manual and automated tests, perform defect analysis, and ensure proper documentation and reporting of results.Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts to improve test efficiency and reduce release cycles.Develop and maintain API & performance tests to ensure system reliability and stability.Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) Collaborate with cross-functional and off-shore teams to align testing with business goals.Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups).Perform other tasks as assigned by your People Leaders at Simpson Strong-Tie Vietnam.Desired skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or software engineering 2+ years of hands-on experience in Software Testing, with both manual and automation skills.Experience in writing new manual test cases based on requirements.Good knowledge of programming languages (preferably Python, C#, JavaScript)Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress) or commercial solutions like TestComplete.In-depth knowledge of test automation principles, design patterns, and best practices.Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) and source control systems (e.g., Bitbucket). Experience in API testing with tools like Postman and SoapUI.
