Automotive Painter / Refinish Technician

DescriptionPosition Summary:CSN Autolab is expanding and opening a second location in the heart of the Glendeer Automall. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team in a brand new shop with 2 paint booths. As an Auto Body Painter, you will be responsible for performing high-quality paint jobs on various types of vehicles to restore their appearance and protect them from further damage.Key Responsibilities:Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and maskingMix paint and apply it to the vehicles using a spray gun or other painting toolsEnsure proper application of paint by using techniques such as wet sanding and buffingInspect finished paint jobs for imperfections and make necessary touch-upsCollaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workFollow company procedures and safety protocols at all timesMaintain cleanliness and organization in the paint booth and work areaAssist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or managerRequirementsQualifications and Requirements:Proven experience as an Auto Body Painter or in a similar roleAlberta Journey Person Certification or Canada Red Seal Extensive knowledge of automotive paint products, applications, and techniquesCommitment to high quality in a faced pace environmentProficiency in preparing surfaces and mixing paint to achieve desired colors and finishesDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality paint jobs and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to identify and fix paint imperfectionsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical stamina to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsValid driver's licenseBenefits Great pay based on experience, flat rate Health Benefits Paid Vacation Paid Holidays
