Automotive Project Manager

Must-Have**• At least 15 years of automotive embedded software and controls development• Direct experience of handling a team of at least 20-25 engineers’ team as project manager.• Korean Language & English Competency (read-write-speak)• Strong Written and Oral Communication, software debugging skills.• Working experience in various phases of software development lifecycle (SDLV) including requirement creation, requirement understanding, embedded software development, model based (MATLAB-Simulink) Software development, Software Unit/sub-system/system validation, experience in validation of software using Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) and vehicle validation.• Technical expertise model based (MATLAB-Simulink) Software development including Model verification, model updating, Model verification methods such as Model-In-Loop (MIL), Software-In-Loop (SIL)• Experience in embedded communication protocols such as CAN, understanding of Automotive Diagnostic• Experience in automotive standards such as AUTOSA, Functional Safety – ISO 26262, ASPICE• Project status reporting including weekly, monthly reporting capturing the project activities completed, project activities ongoing, project activities planned, project schedule and challenges in meeting any of milestones.• Project management activities also include planning, execution of activities, monitoring (measurement of KPIs) and controlling, managing key stakeholders, resource management, risk management, quality management, work distribution to offshore (India) teamGood-to-Have • Prior experience of customer-facing roles in Korean along with team in India• Experience of conducting / driving technical workshops with customers to understand requirements• Firsthand experience of driving / contributing to technical proposals to be submitted to customer.• Good presentation skills
