Job Description

As a Product Owner in AutoStore’s Software organization, you are contributing to the vision and execution of your product. You operate within the company’s overall product strategy and in collaboration with Product Management. You will serve as the Product Owner for one or more development teams, ensuring that customer input and needs are translated into actionable tasks that create real value for your stakeholders. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Your ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution is vital to success in this role. We are looking for an experience Product Owner for our Unify Analytics™, which is our cloud-based data platform and analytics tool. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Vision: Contribute to and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall product strategy and objectives as set forth by Product Management. Establish and maintain continuous feedback loops with users/stakeholders, validating that product vision and strategy deliver real value.

Define tactical product roadmap, setting priorities aligned with customer/stakeholder needs and AutoStore business objectives. Product Ownership for Development Team: Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical aspects of the software product, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. Define and prioritise the product backlog, translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories to deliver customer value that aligns with company objectives. Work closely with Product Management to align on product vision, roadmap, and key deliverables.

Act as the Product Owner for one or more development teams, ensuring the team understands the product vision and priorities clearly. Write epics/user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team in efficiently delivering the right features. Drive backlog refinement activities and participate in review meetings, ensuring that the development team is focused and delivering value. Internal Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical requirements, define product features, and ensure the product aligns with the product roadmapServe as the primary point of contact for detailed technical inquiries from both internal teams and external customers and partners. Customer Advocacy: Engage with individual customers to understand their specific needs and feedback and incorporate these insights into product development along with product management. Validate that new features and functionality meet intended objectives and course correct when needed. Gather data about the user personas and use cases to identify challenges and opportunities and inform prioritization and decision-making.

Support customer success and/or service and support teams in addressing customer issues and ensuring product satisfaction. Qualifications, competencies and capabilities: Bachelor or Master, preferably within business management, logistics or any other relevant discipline. Relevant experience may compensate for this requirement. Passion for product development and management with 5+ years of experienceMore than 2-3 years of domain experience and knowledge in warehouse logistics.
