Aux Talent is partnering with a venture-backed, media-forward professional sports league entering its 6th season with national broadcasts and a growing fan base — to hire a Chief of Staff / EA Hybrid to support the CEO. In this high-visibility role, you’ll be the strategic right hand to the CEO — blending executive support, project management, and business operations. You’ll help drive forward league priorities, manage relationships with investors, board members, and VIP stakeholders, and ensure the CEO’s day-to-day runs seamlessly.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where priorities can shift quickly, and the right person will be unflappable, resourceful, and detail-obsessed. Typical duties (but are not limited to): Managing and prioritizing the CEO’s calendar and communications, coordinating board, investor, sponsor, and media relations, booking and adjusting complex travel (domestic + international), preparing meeting materials and executive presentations, leading small but critical cross-functional projects end-to-end, tracking key action items and ensuring follow-through across teams, supporting event planning and sponsor activations, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretionRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, 2–4 years in a fast-paced role (sports, events, startups, biz ops, or high-performing EA work in a founder-led org), experience supporting senior executives with shifting priorities, high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism, strong attention to detail and follow-through, ability to pivot quickly between strategic and administrative tasks, clear, concise communicator who thrives in a lean team environmentSchedule: Full time, with travel to other offices and league eventsPay: $100,000-120,000/year DOE + bonus + equity + strong benefitsLocation: LA, Orange County, or San Diego
