AV CAD Technician

Long DescriptionPerform systems drawing documentation by the use of CAD software for fabrication and installation of Audio Visual SystemsEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and generate all necessary drawings for integrated AVI-SPL customer projectsCoordinate with Design Engineers Project Engineers and Project Managers to complete drawings accurately and timelyProvide high-level customer service to internal and external customers dailyResearch components as needed to create an accurate depictionAct as customer liaison in absence of the Senior CAD TechnicianUtilize and test calibration of equipmentResponsible for contributing to job documentation as neededAssist with projector and Screen Support Structure installationsOperate small and large scale office printers/plottersUtilize labeling software for rack and field wiring purposesOther duties assigned as neededSkills And AbilitiesProven proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCADAbility to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprintsAbility to successfully handle multiple projects at onceKnowledge of signal flow for audio video and control systemsUnderstanding of site survey'sFamiliarity of AV or other electro-mechanical installation techniquesPC proficientEducation And/or ExperienceMinimum of 1 year CAD experience preferred1 year of customer interaction experience preferredMore About UsAVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
