ResponsibilitiesCare for residents and assist in updating each resident’s service planAssist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eatingAssist with the Life Enrichment Program and encourage residents to participate in activitiesCreate and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environmentDocument and communicate any changes pertaining to residents and complete all reports in a timely matterAssist in providing a safe environment for residentsRespond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistance and specialized caregiving as neededMaintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesQualificationsHave knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with eldersMust be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
