About the JobWe are seeking a seasoned and experience Project Manager to join our Transformation Project Office, based in Malaysia, to support a strategic initiative that covers Operations, Technology and Finance, and across two both Singapore and Malaysia. This role will support primarily the Transformation Project Office, responsible to coordinate the planning with the various workstreams and to drive the activities on the ground to ensure that they are aligned with the strategic goals and within project constraints.Key Responsibilities:Project ManagementProject planning – support the Transformation Management Office to develop the project plan, including defining of scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocationStrategic alignment - ensure the activities across the different project workstreams are aligned with the strategic objectivesRisk management – work with our risk rep and risk owners to identify potential risks and develop action plan to manage the risksIssue management – identify and resolve issues that arise during project executionFinancial management – work with the strategy project manager to track and manage project budgetChange ManagementWork with the comms team to develop an effective communication strategy, with oversight over the executionWork with the talent engine team to develop clear change management plan, with oversight over the executionWork with the functional leads and their business analysts to execute the change management plans at the functionReporting and Stakeholder ManagementProvide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks and outcomesPrepare detailed reports, dashboards and presentations for key stakeholdersAct as liaison between functional teams in SG and in MY, to facilitate communication and collaborationWe are looking for people whoMinimum of 8 years of experience in delivering large IT/digital projects with a significant scope in change management e.g. offshoring, setup of centre of excellenceCertification and strong knowledge of project management (e.g. PMP, Agile, PRINCE2)Prior experience in financial services and in working with regulators such as MAS and BNMProven ability to work with geographically distributed teams, manage stakeholders at senior levels, and influence strategy directionProven track record managing transformation/change management type projectsStrong team player with attention to detail, resilience under pressure and an adaptable and resourceful mindset.Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsHow you succeedChampion and embody our Core Values in everyday tasks and interactions.Demonstrate high level of integrity and accountability.Take initiative to drive improvements and embrace change.Take accountability of business and regulatory compliance risks, implementing measures to mitigate them effectively.Keep abreast with industry trends, regulatory compliance, and emerging threats and technologies to understand and highlight potential concerns/ risks to safeguard our company proactively.Who we areFounded in 1908, Great Eastern is a well-established market leader and trusted brand in Singapore and Malaysia.
